This hotel is exellent. The location is central. I stayed for 5 days and extended my stay for 1 night without any problem staying in the same room. My room was at the side of the street on the 3rd floor and I did not noticed, nor felt any noise of the “tram” and cars. The room was nice, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and had all amenities you would need. Breakfast was included and was really tasty and each day fresh bread and ery good service. The ladies who serves coffee knew beforehand what I preferred and my capuccino was on my table before completing picking up food at the buffet. Tumbs up for Graciela who help me understand service of Rafaela and another Surinam lady who assisted me in finding my way in the city. Als a special thanks to Rudy the tchnician who did a good job re my carry on luggage. I would return if visisting Amstwrdam again.

Stayed 5 nights in a very comfy bed, but pillows were not so good. Lovely view of the canal in a nice sized room in a handy and safe location. Servicing of the room was a bit hit and miss some days. Suggest to skip the hotel breakfast which isn't worth the cost, and to eat local instead. Able to store luggage before and after check in/out. Big well stocked supermarket across the canal nearby. Friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed late April for Kings Day Weekend .. my partners Big Birthday .. Great hotel in one of Amsterdam’s niche areas , Great transport links as all trams are nearby , Easy walking distance to Museum Quarter, lots of beautiful restaurants around the area , Famous De Pijp Market . Friendly staff .. Great Breakfast choice

Wonderful stay, from arriving in reception with a lovely warm welcome to our departure with a token keepsake. The room is fully equipped with everything you need including a fridge, coffee maker and toiletries. Very clean and fresh. As it was my Birthday the lovely staff left me some balloons and gifts which was a lovely surprise. We'll definitely be back, great location and just what we needed. I use a wheelchair and there is a lift to all floors and the staff are all so happy to help with anything.

This comes down to personal preference. The staff here was very nice. The location is good too…close to the subway, walkable to all the hotspots but far enough away from the crowds. The issue I had was the hotel design…it’s all form with no function! For example, the room was large (yay!) and clean (although showing a little wear) but the bathroom door is glass, and the outer edge is not frosted. Meaning you can see right into the bathroom when the door is closed! The sink is gigantic leaving almost no room on the counter for your stuff. The lights in the room are all controlled by touch panels on the wall which seems cool except the room is BRIGHT all night from the ambient glow of those touch panels. Plus one of the panels was behind the bed pillows so the lights turned on in the night! Lastly with all those high tech touch panels, there was not a single USB port in the room so you must bring an adapter if you’re coming from overseas. Again this is personal preference but we were often frustrated when in the room.
